This was a joined event between the American circuit (PGA ) and European circuit (EPGA ) .

Bubba Watson won the Play off against the Australian Tim Clark on the Sheshan international circuit in Shanghai. This was the first success for the twice Masters champion outside the US. This was a notable performance when you considered that Bubba is a golfer who rarely plays outside the United States.

Although he is an outstanding competitor, Bubba Watson had to fight until the end to win the title. With Tim Clark at his best, bubba ended up one shot behind the Australian at the 18th hole, after a bogey on the 16th and a double bogey on the 17th.

Despite the pressure and falling behind in points, Bubba excelled himself. After ending up at the bunker on his second shot, he proved his talent to the Chinese public by hitting the ball with intelligence and expertise. This sublime Bunker shot found the hole, giving Bubba his first eagle and at the same time, the victory.

This brilliant shot is already considered by all to be the best one of the 2014 golf season. It will leave Tim Clark in second place (-11) and Rickie Fowler , Graeme McDowell and Hiroshi Iwata at -10.

The American golfer proved his talent and his competitiveness to the Chinese public with some remarkable shots and shared with them the moments of stress, doubt and elation.

After The Northern Trust Open on the PGA tour in February and The Masters in April, Bubba wins his third Title in Shanghai with the Tourbillon caliber RM 038 “Victory watch” on his wrist. He is now third in the world rankings.
